Chewing Mara was born in Montevideo, Uruguay, in 1971 until 1988 he draws and paints on his own. In 1989 he settled in Buenos Aires, Argentina and enter in a graphic design studio, where it develops into screen printer until 1992. In 1993 he returned to Montevideo where he continues to paint, using acrylic as the primary means in their work. Since 1997, trips made by different countries in Europe and the United States. In the year 2002 he joined the Taller del Maestro Guillermo Fernandez where he studied drawing and painting until the end of 2004. In November 2004 he moved to London where he lives.
